• Resumen

  La pesca comercial marítima argentina nació en Mar del Plata, al incorporarse el litoral atlántico a la República Argentina en el último cuarto del siglo XIX. motorizada por la demanda de aquellos que disfrutaban de la villa turística y al poco tiempo por el mercado de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Pero esta actividad tuvo que esperar varias décadas hasta dar un salto cualitativo como actividad económica de magnitud. En los años 1940. la II Guerra Mundial y el desarrollo de la industrialización sustitutiva fueron el impulso de esa transformación que incentivó el incremento de los volúmenes de captura. Analizamos este proceso desde la perspectiva de la extracción y primera venta de las capturas.

• Abstract

  The argentine marine commercial fishing was born in Mar del Plata, when incorporating the Atlantic coast to the Argentine Republic in the last decades of the 19,h century. motorised by the demand of the people that enjoycd the tourist village and. later. for the market of the city of Buenos Aires. But this activitv had to wait severa! decades until giving a qualitative jump as economic activity of magnitude. In the years 1940. the World Ward II and the devclopment of the substitute i idustrialisation, were the impulses of a transformaron that motivated the increment of the capture volumes. We analyse this process from the perspective of the extraciion and Ilrsl sale of the captures.
